Have you ever had so much on your mind that you can’t sleep, you’re feeling all anxious and overwhelmed.
Maybe you had a nightmare or a problem or situation that’s consumed your mind into the twilight hours. Weather these feelings hit during the day or the night, the Nine of Swords represents worry, fear and anxiety.
What we must remember is that worries are merely our thoughts. And in reality, thoughts should not be able to hurt us. When we begin to worry unnecessarily we should remember the FEAR acronym. False Evidence Appearing Real. Give it the 3 day rule. If it still bugs you in three days, it needs to be confronted. Unless you have the true facts that it’s a legitimate worry, there is little point becoming lost in the fiction of needless worry.
Nine of Swords is a card that represents self-defeat. It describes mental anguish and stress. It could mean a period of many sleepless nights to come.
You’re experiencing unhealthy thoughts that are keeping you up at night. You’ve allowed negative emotions to take over your entire existence. Your pain can take the form of fear, depression, loneliness and isolation. Find the courage to reach out for help. You need to rise above it and figure out a way to turn what’s challenging into an opportunity. It can be harnessed positively with the right attitude, and it takes plenty of willpower and discipline to do so. Try not to allow your inner angst to get the better of you.
