All you can focus on right now is what went wrong and how you failed. If you just looked around, you’d see that new opportunities are available to you. All you need to do is cross that bridge.

It’s time to get over it! Sure, feel the feels, but set yourself a time limit for your self-pity and then pull yourself together and move on. Do not let yourself get stuck in wallow mode. (I refer to this card as the wallower card)

If someone has disappointed you, find it within your heart to forgive that person (for you, not them!), and release yourself from the disappointment.

Often, the Seven of Cups can be a sign of wishful thinking and projecting into the future about what you would like to create, rather than taking action here in the present to make it happen. You must approach the present opportunities with a definite set of priorities and have your long term objectives carefully planned out.

This card allows you to move and choose from the options presented to you. Each one will have its advantages and disadvantages – it is up to you to ensure that the option you choose is compatible with your intent and your Highest Good – even if you feel overwhelmed by the options available to you. If you try to pick everything at once, the actual benefits of the current experience will not be maximized. Choose carefully.

A card of “expect the unexpected” – massive change, upheaval, destruction and chaos. The Tower card shows a high tower nestled on top of the mountain. A lightning bolt strikes the the crown on the top which sets it ablaze. Flames are bursting in the windows and people are jumping out of the tower as an act of desperation.

It’s when something strikes in your life strikes and you are thrown out of your comfort zone and forced to confront change.

This change may be pleasant or unpleasant, but this all depends on your perception. It can indicate that you get a shock to the system you weren’t expecting – it’s not what that shock was but how you deal with it from now that is important.

Change must happen. The more you fight it the worse it becomes. Make a new start.

When the Tower card appears in a Tarot reading expect the unexpected – massive change, disruption, ruin, and confusion. Transition is here to tear things up, create chaos, and ruin all in its way.
